A Day of Culture - Part 1.

On Saturday we set off for a day of Culture in Brisbane. We had never taken the kids to the art gallery before and David had never been either, so off the Galley of Modern Art (GOMA) which is FREE. Another amazing thing about QLD, all the free activities.




Once we are in the city we find a park, thinking it will cost us a small fortune based on Sydney parking, we were happy to find that it was only going to cost us $15 for the day. As we leave the car park a see a small sign saying to go to the conceirge desk and get a ticket for $5 parking. WooHoo So happy. We go and they say they don't have anymore tickets left so here is one for FREE Parking. Loving Brisbane already.


First stop on our day of culture was Tiffany's. Monique picked no less then 10 items which she would like. She either better start saving or find herself a rich sugar daddy.
Then to David Jones for a free spray of purfume and a browse. I don't know how but we ended up in the Toy section.......

A walk through the mall and the girls find a big bunch of metal balls.



All this culture before we even get to the Gallery.

    Glad your enjoying it up here. This reminds me that we haven't been there for a while we went to the museum last time free as well an that was nice. Apparently the science centre is great as well

I started to blog when a became pregnant with Riley and now, it is one of the few things i have to remember him by. We lost our darling little boy on 16th February 2010 at 31 weeks. I had a feeling that something was not right, that he hadn't moved much in the days leading up to his arrival so called the hospital and was told to come straight in to get checked out. I was concerned but thought that everything would be OK. Riley didn't move much or maybe is was that i'm always so busy that i only ever noticed it at night when i went to bed. Josephine Adelaide Arrives

I have finally found some time to post, last friday we welcomed the arrival of Josephine Adelaide , you might know her as 'Sunny'. Weight 3095 Date of Birth 2/12/2011 Length: 50cm She is so lovely and we are so glad to have her with us finally. What a long road. As I have time I will continue to write about my girls and what it was like to be 37 weeks pregnant and then to actually deliver her and bring her home. The anticpation and emotions are something which I don't want to ever forget. Here are some Pictures of our beautiful girl.

Sunny Days - The Arrival

So before I forget in my haze of lack of sleep I want to go back to the 2nd of December and remember the birth of Josephine. It was pretty much like the other kids in regards to how long it was and the pain. Why oh why do we keep going back for more. It is only when that pain hits again that you actually remember what it was like. For me it is usually at this point when I start to beg for pain relief. They reassure me that I'm nearly there and can only give me gas which does nothing but make me want to vomit. Let me start back on the 1st December when we had an appointment with Prof, I took backup with me I was ready for him to go back on his promise that our goal was to get to 37 weeks. The back up was more to console me when he told me 'Lets just try for another week'. I was so thankful when he said lets do an internal and see where we are at and discuss the plan to bring this baby into the world.
